Software Projects

This section contains information about the following type of software projects:

  • My own projects, which are maintained by myself. Here you can find updates, screenshots, installation instructions, releases and maybe some day also some documentation.

  • My favourite projects, which I use all day. On these pages I provide information about these projects, release my own extensions and list links to external ressources, which I consider usful.

New Sawfish extensions (28. June 2004)

I just uploaded a set of my sawfish extensions.

GEX 0.5.0 is released (23. May 2004)

This release contains a rewrite of the panel plugin interface. Instead of running new processes for each plugin, a shared library is loaded.

gNalMo 0.4.0 is released (16. November 2003)

First of all: Sorry for all GTK+ 1.x users. This new release still includes support for GTK+ 1.x, but this code is exactly the same as the last release. My last testing machine for GTK+ 1.x got an update and lost the required python bindings. The GTK+ 2.x support got a few updates like some stock icons and hopfully cantains fewer bugs. Also there is a new menu helping the user to disable/enable single monitors. NalMo itself disables a monitor, when reading the monitor fails.

NalMo 0.3.3 is released (16. November 2003)

This release contains just a few bug fixes and extensions for the internal communication channels, needed to talk to the user interface.

NalMo 0.3.1 is released (4. October 2003)

This is the first official release of NalMo a monitoring software. This is the core without any display entities. It just provides an engines which is used by gNalMo.

gNalMo 0.3.1 is released (04. October 2003)

This is the first official release of gNalMo a GTK+ 1.x and GTK+ 2.x graphical user interface for the monitoring engine NalMo.

GEX 0.3.2 is released (22. September 2003)

Another bug fix release is out. It also contains a new feature in the GEX panel. Now it's possible to have more than one panel while just running one process of gxpanel. For more information see the examples configuration in the release archive (more documentation on the configuration of GEX will follow).

GEX 0.3.1 is released (01. September 2003)

This is the first release of GEX a small envrionment for the X windowing system. The current releases features a wallpaper tool, a panel and a bunch of plugins for the panel like a APM or ACPI tool, a tasklist and a pager. Thanks to Soenke Schwardt (snowball at gmx dot de) for the plugins gxwireless and gxacpi.
