This script is for PALM users who would like be able to read RFCs in a confortable and efficient way on their PalmOS PDA using the display tool Weasel (Weasel web-site)

As most PALM PDAs have a display which can not display 80 characters a row reading of RFC's is not that nice. Additionally there are these disturbing header and footer lines, which do not make any sense when using a PDA.

rfc2ztxt repairs the bugs, mentioned before and provides additonal features, which make reading an RFC more confortable:

For easy navigation each section is added to a list of bookmarks

Leading spaces are stripped and paragraphs are saved as a single line, so the display tool can calculate the best fitting line breaks.
